a tagging system could help a lot.. on another site for torrents, they have about 50 plus labels. and not only can the uploader place them, but so can anyone else. that way you might upload a video, and it be white female, asian male, sex, oral, non nude...... etc etc

now for search they have all those same tags listed.. you can search one by one. or click 1-50 and search for those that contain one or the other... or search for ones that contain them all


i don't know how much work that would entail, but its the easiest way to search for "black girl has sex with white guy" videos and find them all



also a few of the forums are locked... yes still to this day and i know my sign up date was years ago. now i don't post too much content, but i make sure to thank every single page (keeps me up to date on what's new topics). there should be a way that thanking people should get you somewhere. i could try to upload content. but i think that's where you get the reposts. this is the only site i have for this, so any content would be the same exact content i already got from here

i'm not saying i'm important as an uploader. but if they have to gain a certain number of thanks, i wouldn't be mad to hear i had to give double or triple that to get the same rewards

Videos redirect to adultfriend finders, and no longer play!!! You have screwed up a good site! Wtf and wth!

Calm down the videos are auto and those advertisements are what keeps the site running.

P.s this a poll for discussion on long term improvements that aren't already set.
Saying its not working over and over will not make improvements faster. Be patient.

To me, its seems as if everybody got good suggestions; but my suggestion is basically on site videos. I know you guys got to have the homegrownfreaks logos on y'all post/video or picture clips. I think your videos would be RAW if you take out the homegrownfreaks label off the middle of the videos and place it on the bottom right. That way your video clips look real amatuer and genuine homegrown freaks ;-)

I think it would be helpful to know when a video was posted right from the title. Currently its only easy to see when last someone has commented. Also most of the videos I'm hitting are taking you to porn sites instead of playing the video, whats good wit that?!

The every site could use upgrades but it's cool as is right now what i'd like to see is it maintain what it started out as. I've been on for a while and i like the fact i can contribute as much as i want how i want when i want. I'm not the most technically sound person in the world so i dont know specifics on how shit supposed to work or what it takes to work but the site works great for me anyway. I just dont like when stuff evolve to the point that it loses what it was in the begining. On that note i just realized i made E-5 please don't change the ranking system lol

I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS Navy JaG! Business IS Business! So, how much DID you make off this deal, rhetorically speaking, of course (unless you really want to tell us!).

This will probably mean more traffic to this website, which hopefully mean even more pics and vids for ppl like me to watch and comment on. As of this posting, HGF ranked # 17, 089 worldwide and # 3,185 in the US on alexa.com. So, HGF's ranking in Alexa will probably improve as a result of this acquisition.

I just hope that HomeGrownVideo will not change HGF. As the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Upon checking HomeGrownVideo sites, it is a pay site. Will this site go the way of Rude and start charging?

I see the player as a downgrade as far as using it on a computer. I really liked this site because of the video player it had. I could fast forward before it loaded the whole video or without it restarting from the beginning, now I have to wait for the whole thing to load.

As far as new features come I would like to see a better server ofcourse and more rewards. Especially for top posters like me, more access to the site or even cash if possible for the amount of viewers that top posters get to come to the site. The follow feature would be great also to keep track of things that your favorite posters have posted before or in the future. Hey if the site being sold is going to make it better by all means and a new server should work great also.
My biggest problems is the snitches, and captain save a hoes..we need to find a way to try and filter the site from all these kinds of people. My suggestions would be to ask once a topic gets reported on how that person found out about it in detail so that the post can get removed. That way we know whos doing the snitching.

Im going to keep it plain and simple. Off top I think the site is great and minor changes could be made. I think when you click "Videos" at the top of the page, then choose the ethnicity you would like to view, instead of just showing the "Important Topics" & the "Forum Topics" you should also make it to where people see a video sample underneath the topics. That way people wont waist their time clicking on every thing trying to find what they are looking for.

This is one of the hottes sites out.. Mad unique. Only issue I can think of right now cuz I'm faded is sometimes u'll see a dog as vid on here, then can't find it again. You should be able to keep up wit joints you like

i think im going to adopt a wait and see attitude as far as the new ownership is concerned and i agree with what was said about posting content it should be quality not quantity i know as far as im concerned ive posted only nice original content and gotten some thanks but dude out here posting massive reposts are getting promoted

When picking a topic there's a mouse over preview of what to expect. So your asking for what's already there.
Video previews like that will not only increase bandwidth usage, it will also make browsing the categories slow (Due to all the previews playing together at the same time, if you ever been on a tumblr page with nothing but gifs you'll understand). basically your saying 'Make it more slow asf for myself/others'

LESS INTRUSIVE, SCROLLING ADS. Those things completely get on my nerves and takes away from viewing. I know it's business, but damn!

If a better server means larger, better quality files that can be uploaded on every post, then that should be the FIRST order of business.

The scrolling preview for posts - where you can see samples of the post before you click it - isn't available at all times. For example, if you go to a member's list of post the preview option isn't available to you and you have to click every post to see what it's like.

And finally, UPDATE THE FEATURED VIDEOS MORE OFTEN ... AND MAKE SURE THEY'RE WORTHY OF THAT SPOT! I'm not sure what the criteria is for becoming a "featured" video, but that's the FIRST thing anyone sees so those need to be as on point as possible. Most are, but sometimes .... IIIIIIII don't know. And that "Post of the Week" thing is annoying. This site is all about what's the LATEST. We all want to see what someone has come up with next. And to feature OLD posts so high on the page, forcing you to scroll down for the new stuff totally goes against that. Maybe moving the Featured Videos and Post of the Week to the left of the page and making them smaller next to the most recent posts would allow you to have the new posts higher and still give the featured stuff props.

DAMN ... almost forgot. There's GOT TO BE AN EASIER WAY for viewers to filter the NEWLY ADDED content - not responses to comments - to the top of these lists. As it stands now, you'll open a post at the top of the list with a today's date, thinking it's just been uploaded, only to find out someone just added a comment to an old, OLD post. VERY frustrating!

I would just like for there to be an area where i can save the videos that i like the most. thats all
