I played most of the Call of duty games with the Modern Warfare games being my favorite but I have to go with Battlefield 3 on this one. Battlefield 3 is an amazing game and it took a while to make that switch but I like it. No one is going Rambo and trying to get all the kills, it is a team based simulation shooter. No one is lunging at you with a knife(I am very happy about that!), tme.he guns have recoil which again shows that this is a simulation game.
Basically if you just want a nice run and gun then MW3 but if you want realism then Battlefield 3.
I probably will get MW3 later but I'm loving Battlefield 3!

MW3 should be called Modern Warfare 2 Ultimate edition. It's the same shit same graphics engine from 3 years ago nothin major was bought to the table with this (kinda like madden) BF3 is technically better in all aspects except maybe campaign. Can u fly jets in multiplayer in MW3? nope. Helicopters? nope (oh u do get that gunship killstreak perk (rolls my eyes). Tanks, Humvees, APC's, Jeeps? Nope, Nope Nope and Nope. Destructible Environments? Uh Nope. The sound in BF3 murks Mw3 for sure and graphics I won't even go there. BF3 isn't perfect but it damn sure provides a much more all around multiplayer experience than MW3.

Who has played them on PC? I normally dont play FPS on ps3.
Any suggestions on which to get?
I downloaded both for PC... BF3 has a wierd melee sequence on the campaign... you will play BF3 on multiplayer longer... But MW3 is EPIC!!! the single player campaign is smoother... emmersive and if you already played MW2.. you WILL be sold on MW3

How can you drive CL600 and get in a Honda coupe and say... the honda is better because everyone has one...

MW3 is a beast and looks good thats what I play. Battlefield graphics are very good but the gameplay is a little too realistic so its a little harder at least for me it is so MW3 is the best bet

Battle Field is far better and i have been playing MW fan for a while. Many people don't like it cause they stink at it. In MW i could beast and win if my team sucked, in battlefield if your team suck i don't care how good you are chalk that up as a loss. No killing people cross the map with a hand gun even an smg. Its like playing MW on hard core add in some vehicles
