I'm really trying to figure out why the Pres. is giving all of his support to a possible Traitor(Sgt. who was just released for five Gitmo detainees)....If the all of the info coming out about this guy is true then he did abandon his post and he did go to the Taliban. This will surely look bad for President Obama. Why isn't the President getting quality info first before acting ? The photo op with the father of the Sgt. looked really bad too(ls the father a Taliban supporter ?). I don't know but it seems like Obama is falling off his game with this and other situations like the Healthcare rollout. It seems like the people under him are letting him down and somehow He's not catching it until it's a problem......

I think Obama prefers to have a traitor in his hands than 5 detainees who weren't talking.

Obama just seems like he's not as sharp right now with this situation....and i always support him though

i just can't believe Obama wasn't like " give me ALL the facts on this first before i just go with it..." If he had all the facts he still could have brought this guy home, But he would have spun it much differently....he could have been like..." We brought him home because there is a lot of mystery surrounding his alleged captivity...we want to know why and how he left his post and if he acted in a detramental way we will act appropriately...."

He might just be trying to tie up the loose ends and be focusing on the issues he said he would accomplish before his term expires

In all reality the President is in his last term his supporters seem to be abandoning ship for what's next and it makes him seem slow to act sometimes. About this traitor thing no one knows the situation under which the deal was made and most likely no one ever will. It seems to me no one ever has confidence that Obama has America's best interest at hand.

He wasnt a traitor. He was psychologically/ mentally unstable at the time and wonder off the  base looking for talibans to kill. So they going to hold him responsible for the death of the 4 soldiers. We people do not listen and know whats going on. He doing this to get all off American Troops out. So we get that one before we leave that country. So he is not off his game. He ctually told Congress F you, I dont need your approval. And he did that because they was 2 slow cause this issue was on the table for the last 3 years..... Look at C-Span sometimes people

the prez definitely took a hit in my book. u don't want to leave anybody behind (and guaranteed if it was any of us u would want someone to come get you instead of being stuck there forever), however giving up 5 dudes who may come back and get us...idk bout all that.

not for nothin, only in this divided america can bringing a soilder home be viewed as a bad thing. its also kinda wild, i assume most people here are urban the type that vote for the man, but it seems like the opinion is against him at least on this thread. I guess fox news is working overtime.
