sucks for the Caribbean but around here shit aint gonna do nothing. waters are too cold and it will lose strength by the time it reaches us here. people are evacuating from hoboken, and i look at them like they're weak. granted theyre all the yuppies and hipsters from out west and down south that moved here. only thing im worried about is since most places are closed, WTF AM I GONNA BUY TO EAT??!!!!!!

I'm from Florida, Cat 1 storm ain't shit.
KOTS 85 Hurricane Preparation Plan
Cat1 = Stock up on beer & snacks, and enjoy your mini vacation
Cat2 = Think about putting up the shutters, & make sure your have some bottled water, cause you might be inside for a while
Cat3 = Put up the shutters, & prepare for several days of no power, & you better food stockpiled or your ass is gunna be starving
Cat4 = This shit just got REAL, only seasoned hurricaneers should stay, cause a Cat 4 is not to be played with. You need to be in a shuttered building that has a fairly new roof on it, or your ass might get blown away.
Cat5 = GET THE FUCK OUT OF WAY, cause a Cat 5 will destroy just about anything in its path.

Places were flooded and trees were knocked fucking up people's driving and cable if they fell on the lines like some did in my hood.
