In short: with money, you'll always want power; with power, you'll never need money.
ETA: For those who voted money: if money was greater than power, why do presidential candidates raise hundreds of millions of dollars to get a job that pays $400,000 a year?

because it is not the candidates who spend the money but rather the rich who want to have some sort of power that invest their money... without the money to invest in the candidates their voice isn't heard however the bigger the investment the louder the voice... therefore i argue that you can't have power if you dont have the financial backing... although its a movie Scarface said it best "In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power."

You're corroborating my first point of the super-rich investing in some sort of power, but the point I was trying to get across is that the money is not as important as the coveted prize that spending it could lead to: being the most powerful man in the world. This supports my idea that power>money.
therefore i argue that you can't have power if you dont have the financial backing... although its a movie Scarface said it best "In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power."
The whole idea of the poll was would you rather be rich or powerful. Whether or not you need money to get power or vice versa is irrelevant. The point is that you're to imagine a scenario where someone is offering you loads of money or loads of power (no attachments or whatever) and you have to choose. And if I had to choose, I'd choose power because, like I said, with the power to get what you want, money becomes negligable. Also, I love Scarface. I think every ##### in the inner city who wants to emulate the drug dealers they are surrounded by should watch it to see what will eventually happen when you indulge in that lifestyle, but that's another issue for another day.
