Hi all:

 

I'd like your opinion on this matter. Has your significant other prevented you from looking at porn? If so, what happened? What did you do to appease your significant other? Or did you end up breaking it off.  Thanks for your opinion mates.

Well my ex couldn't stand me looking at it felt intimidated I guess that I could get myself off more quickly than he could. I watched it any damn way when he was at work. I think porn in a healthy relationship is a great compliment. I think the problem comes with unrealistic expectations not everyone can be the chick in the porn film. If anything about her performance or looks intimidates the mate well that could be their cause for concern.

It's insecurity and to some emotional cheating! Invite her to watch with you find some chick friendly stuff and limit watching stuff she's not comfortable with doing. She might not be where you are with sexual exploration.

It depends on the person and how emotionally secure they are. I dated a girl that didn't care if I watched porn or not because she also watched it. I also dated a girl that didn't like me watching because she felt I wished she looked more like the girls in the porn I watched and she wanted me to stop. I had to tell her that I loved her and shit but that wasn't happening. She was mad about it until she discovered she liked looking at big boobs then we started watching porn together. Whenever I found porn of a girl with big boobs we watched it together. It made things interesting lol. It depends on the person.

@Mizzqt37 It really is. That's how she sees it. I just need to be open more and honest. @mistborn Thank you mate for your post. I've had similar issues. It does help to watch together, but at the same time, it's her insecurities. She'll eventually overcome it.

I would find out what they like and gradually introduce it to them, if you love the person that is not a reason to break it off.

I used to enjoy watching porn with my ex. in fact, she got so off into it. she wanted to be fucked while it was playing. now with my new gf. i have to be careful cause she doesn't watch porn. due to the nature that she works all day, and goes to school at night.

I havent been prevented because she herself watches porn at times. I wouldnt break it off, try to talk about it.

I've honestly only had once ex that had a problem with me watching porn. When I first told her that I still watched while I was with her she was all surprised because she assumed she was good enough. After that whole incident I just told her I would stop for her but I kept watching anyway (what she doesn't know won't hurt her lol.) As for my other exes they could care less some would even watch with me just for fun.

I am an old man that makes a lot of money (at least for us) and JUST RELIGIOUS ENOUGH, to not cheat on my wife - she knows it, she likes the deal she has : She turns the other way - so NO, she has never gotten in the way of me and naked asses.

I don't see why there would be any reason NOT to watch porn. I don't think anyone can get you off better, and quicker than yourself... SEX over Masturbation any day. Let's not confuse that, but Porn is somewhere to go to see what else you like... also it gives ideas and can be put to good use in spicing things up in the bedroom. I watch a lot of porn, but I never compare it to real life because one is fake, and reality is real. I couldn't be in a relationship where my partner wasn't openly accepting of me watching porn. I'm not going to hide it, or restrict myself to when they aren't around.  I feel like once you start putting restriction on the way i live and conduct my life, then where will it end... next thing will be that I can't watch R Rated movies where there's nudity and sex scenes. Things escalate quickly. Lol. Long answer long... Porn is great. Homegrown is the best. 3 - 5 minute sex tapes. Bam. Bust that nut and make her smile. That's real life.

Really!!! it's usually the girl (or so I've heard) in the relationship that dislike that the guy watching porn. What kind of porn do you watch, tell us more, I'm fascinated with this whole problem. If I had a girl who looked at porn like that, I would think it was absolutely thrilling.

I've never cared if my bf watched porn because I do but I noticed he watched it way too often. Random points throughout the day maybe even after we had sex if I was tired. I kinda felt like he should wait or something Lol. Anyway I put limits on it and expressed my concern. I'm sure he just sneaks and watches it. You guys think he's addicted?????

@deelow I think all men are addicted to porn. Simple as that. We try to make time for our "porn".  Yes I know it seems too much but that's how we are today.  I admit it, I am addicted as well.
